A Good Day for Chili

It absolutely poured rain all night last night and while it makes for good sleeping it sure makes everything soggy! I had to put my tennis shoes in the dryer and they were under the awning. 

The rally had a chili lunch and corn hole competition today. We didnt enter the corn hole but we did take garlic cheese sticks.  They had every kind of chili you can imagine. It was so good.

They have given away some really great door prizes.  Unfortunately we didnt get one

The guy that got picked after us got a tv satelitte wineguard antenna valued at $200. We just arent very lucky.

I got my 10,000 steps in early. Hiawatha didnt get but 8,000

Hiawatha met the leader of our Southwest adventure. He and his wife are 84 and still going strong.
